YES WE CAN

I was working long hours the whole week so was not updated with recent events. I was watching the US elections closely though because (1) it is historic - choice between having the first black president and the oldest elected president and (2) whoever gets voted will face a rough and tough time ahead and will make the most crucial decisions involving American and global economy, war in Iraq among others.

I love the message Obama's win brings. That, YES WE CAN. That everything is possible. No one saw this coming - a black president in the White House! Obama may have less experience than McCain but he is fresh and inspiring, a visionary and I have faith he would do well. With what he has done to get him to where he is now, he deserves to become the President, the most powerful person in the world.

Congratulations! I wish we would also have the chance of choosing between two great candidates in 2010...It was a WIN WIN for America.

Great song sung by the greatest female artists of our time!!! Who would have thought it was possible to bring Mariah, Fergie, Rihanna and so many more on one stage!

Fergie was great! Her voice was distinctive. Everyone else did good except for Miley. She was...well, you be the judge!

A fact in life is that people come and go. At my office, people come and go at a higher rate than what the saying intends.


One of my collegues recently said goodbye -rather, see you soon!- to the team. We have had several despedidas as a tribute to him for his contributions in enriching work and our lives, touching it in more ways than one. Pao, you deserve more than those despedidas! Take care of Ron although I am sure you will do! Stay kalog!
