Clean up your closet. It's time to let go...

No. This is nothing deep. I mean the statement literally. Go to your closet, and separate those items of clothing you don't wear. I know. I know. Sometimes, it's hard to let go of some pieces, for sentimental reasons probably. But hello?! If there's holes on it here and there, then throw it away (or use it as a rag or something). If the hole is not that big, maybe you could give it away to less fortunate relatives perhaps, to orphanages or to other organizations-they'd be happy to have that shirt which has been sitting on your cabinet for who knows how many months or years (does it even fit you?). But if it has so big of a hole, then please, do not, i repeat, do not donate it.

My sisters (I have 3) and I have a number of closets for all our stuffs. We share most of the clothes like pants and blouses (lucky, things fit for all of us, huh?) so it's okay. In the recent months however, our wardrobe count have increased geometrically with all the purchases my eldest sister Jany have made. Not that we have so many clothes; but, we don't get rid of stuff that easily, unless necessary of course. Well, now we have to, because it's so hard when it's full of stuff you don't wear.

When the clothes do not fit you right, don't put it in your closet. For me, it's better that you have a closet with a few things that look good on you than with so many others which just don't look right. If it's something you think you'll wear again, then think of when the last time you wore that shirt. If it's too long ago, don't think twice on it because more likely than not, you won't wear it anymore.

But classic pieces. Jeans with nice cuts that fit right. Blouses that you can wear over and over again (the plain ones) and flatter your body type. Invest on those and even dresses- you'll never know when the next affair would be. And with shoes, well, make sure you have a comfy flat pair you can wear for malls or for long walks and which you could use with that nice dress you have.

Believe me. It feels so good when you feel good about yourself which you will definitely feel when you look good. It's time to clean up that closet of yours.
