Just came home from dinner out and movie with HS friends- my bestest friends. We had a fantastic time as always (Tim-send the pictures soon so I can post it!). Haven't seen them since last month and it's fun to get together again. We celebrated three occasions tonight-two birthdays for Lawrence and Jumie and one to congratulate Kesmin for passing the recent CPA exam. Celebration was simple, just brought some food to Bellevue subdivision's clubhouse and ate everything we can get into our stomach. Hehe. The wait for the latecomer/s (Lawrence-hint hint) was well worth it for all the food prepared (more correctly, ordered). Well, Louise cooked some really yummy stuff for Lawrence - a combination of pasta with basil (sided with bread with blue cheese spread) and tender chicken breasts fried in herbed bread crumbs and baked in tomato sauce and a generous amount of grated cheese. We also had a seafood pizza from Yellow Cab, Mango Bravo from Conti's, and Blueberry cheesecake from Divine Desserts (who supplies to UCC). Unfortunately, near the end of the meal, with all the chit chats we had and all the air in the stomach for laughing hard on jokes (funny, corny or both), we weren't able to touch the pistachio ice cream and salad.
(surprise!!!)
We went straight to Trinoma to catch Die Hard 4.0. The movie was action packed from start to finish. Hang on to your arm rest as Agent Mcclane kills all the bad guys single handedly. Scene to scene, the movie will prove itself worthy of the title. Bruce Willis emerges strong in every one of them, there isn't any point you'll see him tired. I loved the scene where all speeding cars from eastside and westside meet under a tunnel. That's the scene where John Mcclane may have died from car crash and there's a car flying just above him-woohoo! The movie is all about Bruce Willis, I don't like him, but this movie may change my mind. Die hard Mcclane! Surprisingly good!
